Baldurs Gate 3? After all these years? Well I hope they do it right. The first two parts were grandious from the story-telling.
With my old Pen'n'Paper-Party we play since 1995 in the Realms. For a longer time I played a Were-Tiger Priestess of SelΓ»ne/Bard with ancestors from Icewind Dale. With the new campaign I play her great-grandson. He is also a SelΓ»nite (and a Monk) but not a shapeshifter (the first in the familiy since generations, even his siblings can shift into a tiger). Instead he is an Aasimar with very small wings (if you know the anime "Haibane Renmai" then you have an idea about his outward appearance).

Yeah, it's being developed byΒ Larian Studios (Original Sin 1 and 2 - grand games both), so, fingers crossed
I've unfortunately never played the original D&D pen and paper games (because no-one around here in Czech republic knows the rules properly

If you have a good Game Master and other good players it isn't that important what system you are playing. Most especially if the story is really good.
