You must be developing a unique style, since when I saw this in my watchlist, actually had a strong feeling it was yours before seeing the name. It must be the flowy nebula's, which aren't as common among space artists as they should be

Yeah, it's hard for a space artist to develop a unique style, since there's usally less variation in what can pass off as "space art" before it becomes a landscape, sci-fi or fantasy work instead...wer'e limited mainly to planets and nebula's, and since planets tend to look almost the same from every skilled space artist, it's usually unique nebula's that give certain artists their "look"

This looks really good. I like it a lot, but two things:
1.- The two planets are actually the same planet (but the simmetric), it will look better if there were differences.
2.- The nebulas is amazing, really clean and it have a lot of depth. I love it. Are you thinking about a make a great tutorial about creating nebulas? The tutorials about nebulas on dART are really conffusing (or directly are really bad)

Really to make a tutorial is the way to avoid de ripping, because they can do the art by his own hands. To this way they will "copy paste" the images.
I think that is a wrong philosophy.

Yeah, the basic planet and starfield by greg martin - everyone should read them to know the real basics for beginners (without them it's impossible to start at all). The rest I've learned by myself.

You want to know the basics? Well - that's easy - PAINT - because that's all about - there are no secret ways or techniques - it's the way I paint (tablet or mouse - doesn't really matter).

Experiment, practice and you'll find your own style eventually. It's a matter of time and patience - SA takes years before mastering concrete aspect.
