Thank you for the advice, now all i need to do is cut out the the clay with air bubbles, and brush in the spaces and in the parts with no clay on the armature with with my brush using 50/50 of white glue and water, like you said. And i can send you my pics before baking it

Hi Joey i would just like to ask a question about my sculpt.Because i had trouble doing my armature using foil over wire, i decided to do my armature with the das clay over wire instead. It worked out qreat but the problem is that my sculpey would stick to some of the armature, and sometimes the sculpey keeps coming off. And because off this, it caused some of my sculpt to have little patches of thin air bubbles under the sculpey sitting on the armature, making the sculpey feel soft and slightly loose. The sculpey is around halve a centimeter thick that is on the armature, and im planning to cook it in the oven for 120 degrees. Do you think the air bubble patches would expand and ruin my sculpt. Or is there a way to fix this annoying problem.

Well, using DAS over the wire skelleton works indeed, but before you start to add some sculpey you need to fix the DAS, i use water and white glue [half and half [this prevent the sculpey come off the DAS], i add this with a brush, let it dry and then start to sculpt with the sculpey.
The bubbles, i think there's no problem with that, let me see some pictures of your sculpt before you bake it. You can send the pictures to my e-mail.

Hi Joey i am a fan of your works and im new to super sculpey.But i just wanted to ask you when you got the white Das airdry clay for the marauder predator base, did you leave the bottom of the clay base uncovered of super sculpey in the oven or, did it get protected with anything wile cooking.Please tell ive got the base made with the clay,i need to know,thanks.

Oh great thank you so much for answering my question so fast.The sculpture that im doing is a predator roaring and standing in the mud, but i have not decided if i want it to look like one of the movie predators or of my own design yet.But when done i should be able to put it online for everyone to see, and tell me what you think about it, but i dont know how long it will take to finish since im new to these materials.

Thanks for the advice, and the thing you said about doing my own design sounds probably the best idea because you feel free doing it without worrying about getting the sculpture wrong, and can change the detail, like you said.So im going to do some sketches and i will see what i think, and yeah we could stay in contact, and good luck with your thugoons and death metal band.

Joey está increíble este Predator!!.Yo me encontré de casualidad con tu profile de DA porque estaba buscando información sobre modelado de figuras y hallé tu blog y me metí en un link.Yo te quisiera hacer varias preguntas respecto al armado y pintado de figuras, ojalá no sea molestía porque en verdad busque por toda la red pero no todos quieren compartir sus conocimientos.Bueno, mis preguntas son: Con qué tipo de pintura puedo pintar mis figuras y cuál sería la mejor? podrías darme algunos tips para pintar figuras o de cómo se lograr distintas texturas, tipo pelaje, escamas o viejo? Claro, aún falta poner fijacolor y barniz en las zonas como ojos y boca, fuí a comprar ayer pero no encontré, con suerte mi primo aún tiene, mendigo pueblo jodido, no encontré, y de los kitts, estoy mas que interesado, pero necesito plativar contigo para resolver las dudas, un abrazo carnalote y estamos en ocntacto para estos negocios!
