Drawn for DaveAlvarez 's # Muppetober contest.
Said contest involved drawing an obscure Muppet character and for this I chose Frazzle from Sesame Street, the monster with a frightening appearance, but the heart of a teddy bear.
For the record, I am aware that on his most recent appearance on the show he was given fingers, but I wanted to stay true to the version I grew up with and gave him numbs.
Other possible choices for this entry included Humphrey, Ingrid, Natasha, Mildred Huxtetter, Herbert Birdsfoot, and that one guy from the Sesame Streetpitch reel who suggested they name the show “Hey Stupid!”.
I’ve also gotta link this song, which I must have watched a thousand times as a little kid.
