you're own evidence clearly says AFTER: "Florida voters passed a referendum, Amendment 4, which added an amendment to Florida's constitution automatically restoring voting and civil rights to people convicted of most felonies after the completion of their sentences."

So, the argument is that democrats wants free citizen to have their constitutional right to vote? It is irritating that you have to dig to find out that people are arguing against things that they claim to be for these days. =S

I remember how the conspiracy theorists were talking about how the dollar would go bust and it would be substituted by a new NAFTA currency, the Amero. Trump is working like no other president to make it a reality with their current debt already at 22 trillion.

please logic that one for me ... per the Treasury department, the historical debt on 30 Sept 2008 (a few months before Obama took office) was $10.02 trillion ... eight years later on 30 Sept 2016 it was $19.57 trillion ... or are you trying to say that we had no debt before Obama came in?

But hey, why would a republican, I mean, a trumpian let things like FACTS keep them from blaming everything to democrats and blindly following the orange retard like lemmings. Also don't forget that the bank bailout he had to approve to prevent another great recession from kicking is was due to dubys bad handling of the economy on his watch.

Since he started posting Trump stuff he's lost 1/8 of the people who used to follow him regularly based this sites metrics. That might not seem like much but he continues he'll lose more and I don't want to see him flush his options down the toilet because he doens't like the democratically elected leader of the United States. As the progressives like to say, "stay in your own lane"

I imagine, most of the people who are easily offended have left. Unless he started hammering out one of these things every week (which could get boring), I doubt the reduction will continue at the same rate. In any case, He has the right to express his opinions and I'm sure he has seen the same metrics. People also have the right to ignore him. Frankly, if some people can't handle that, too bad. Β
Note: Trump wasn't democratically elected. He was installed by the Electoral College. He lost the popular vote by over 3M votes. Β

Monkey-Zombie In reply to fred1009 [2019-02-18 03:27:58 +0000 UTC]
Trump was elected by the people of the United states of America democratically. The electoral college is designed to give everyone a voice, not just the dozen and a half mega-cities in 8 states.
but if you want to play that 3M votes card, realize that in California alone there are more people on the voting roster in certain counties than legal adults living in those counties. Last one I saw had something like 115% voting for that county. Illegal voting is a problem and its most prevalent in Metropolitan centers. I can guarentee you that when accounting for illegal votes, that 3M number shrinks down to below 200k

fred1009 In reply to Monkey-Zombie [2019-02-18 04:46:49 +0000 UTC]
The Electoral College is NOT "democratic" the point YOU just made. (Look up Democracy(control of an organization or group by the MAJORITY of its members))Β
I've heard the "illegal vote was why the Vampire Queen got the popular vote" BS before. Even Republican investigations have yet to actually prove that 3million illegals voted for her. Β Β Β Β

Democratic process refers to a process of electing an official to office through voting. What you're thinking of is pure democracy, everyone votes and the winner is whomever gets 50.01% of the votes which in turn disenfranchises the other 49.99% of people. Its why the electoral college exists and why we're a democratically elected representative republic.
Its not BS, its political. Which is why you're reducing my point to "Vampire Queen cheated".
The electoral college was perfectly fine not even 4 years ago, in fact it was heralded as one of the cornerstones of our republic, but suddenly its bad because it didn't work in the favor of a chosen candidate.
My point being that illegal voting happens and can swing elections has been something that both sides have failed to address for decades, and something that has been a problem for democracies since their inception. The only reasonable thing to do in this case is to dump the voting rosters every election cycle and have voters re-register EVERY TIME. However, this is something that the governments around major cities and progressives within government not only refuse to do but stand in direct opposition of. They do this because they know that votes are being cast illegally and they don't care as long as it gets their candidate into office. (something both sides need to stop doing) In fact the whole political party thing turns complex issues into simple tribalism and frankly needs to stop.
