Description While watching the increasingly dull Voltron: Legendary Defender, a more interesting story idea popped into my head. Had to sketch out one of the characters.

No kidding. You can play as a floating jelly fish, a floating brain, a dragon, a spider that spins webs into balloons, a rock with a roller wheel. But a catfolk? That's just madness.

I wholeheartedly agree with that...plus Starfinder overall is a rather poor game...though the classes rock!  There is sooooo much more they could have done with starfinder other then what was presented to me its nothing more then pathfinder with guns...oh and you have to be level x to get gun y.  My biggest complaint.

I also would have loved to have seen space wolves/foxes too!.

Yea. I have not read through the whole book, but level restrictions on a weapon is a bit stupid.

Spaaaaaace Woooolves!

Weapons aren't restricted based on level. A weapon's level determines hardness and HP, but overall, it's just a guideline for what level characters should be using it. A 1st-level character can get hold of a level 20 weapon, but considering level 20 weapons can do multiple d20s worth of damage, it would be just a tad imbalanced. It's suggested that most settlements will sell weapons up to the party's level +2.

It's an AWESOME system, my favorite thing right now in tabletop games, but yes, they should have catfolk at some point.

The guy after you mentioned taking cat-folk from Pathfinder for conversion .. which makes sense.

There's also a third-party Starfinder splatbook with catfolk, so it's easy enough to use those if they're DM-approved.
