About the scene... (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE SUN TRAIL)
If you haven't noticed, I've been slacking lately on the Warriors fan art. I was honestly losing some interest. But I FINALLY got and read The Sun Trail, and I loved it! Of course, the first part and the middle was very slow paced, but the last few chapters where really just...
(Why did Storm have to die? D: I might have to do her some art next... Seriously one of my favorite Warriors characters now.) Anyways, this is the scene literally RIGHT AT THE END OF THE BOOK. That quote is the last sentence. XD I love it, because the kitten is actually THUNDER, who is the future 'founder' of ThunderClan, and I think it's really cool that he has such a destiny ahead of him. And Gray Wing is willing to take responsibility for him, even though it's his jerk face brothers kit. Yeah, Clear Sky is a big jerk, but I actually like him as a character. NEED TO DO MORE FAN ARTAbout the artwork...
Ehhhhh. I really can't decide if this is one of my better drawings or one of my worse. I did the shading differently and I dunno if I like it or not. I think it's a better approach, I just need to work on the technique a bit more. And the background...
I whipped it up in like 20 minutes. I really need to work on backgrounds. Which is actually why I plan on doing a series of background practices before I do anymore of this kind of stuff... I never wanted to stop reading warriors but it just kind of happened ;_; I can't remember where I left off, but I'm pretty sure whatever book it was still has the bookmark in it on my shelf! I could easily start reading it again but....no time or money!
If where was ever a special deal where you could buy every Warrior Cat novel starting from the first series I'd buy the crap out of that and just sell the other books I'd have doubles of, then I'd read them all~

Yeah, it kinda sucks to keep up with them. :\ I haven't been able to read any of the exclusive eBooks or recent Super Editions, so I just narrowed my purchases down to the actual series novels. Maybe sometime I'll have enough money to get them, I really want to read them!

I've not read the newer series of Warriros, but, after reading a gists of it on the wiki for Warriors, and seeing a few fanart (like this), it's safe to say that I really want to read it!
I must say, everything in the picture looks great, from the expressions of the cats, to the coloring of everything!

Yeah, I enjoyed how developed Clear Sky was, but he could be a jerk. However, if you think about it, he had to lose so many loved ones. I guess that sort of just destroyed him, and he wanted to do what was best for his group. Still, he could have been a bit nicer to his own son. :cĀ
I've really wanted to see some artwork of this book! ouo I don't really think many people are interested, since the fourth series was kind of a let-down. This fifth series was an outstanding improvement, though. I just loved the character development in this. There were scenes where you really just felt bad for all of the characters.
Anyway, I love this piece of artwork! <3 Your sense of anatomy is amazing, and I kind of believe it can get really difficult to draw kittens. They are so chubby and adorable. You really used the shading and lighting well in this, too. I think you did a really great job with this! I absolutely love seeing people draw fake screenshot sort of things for Warriors. ^^

I agree, that's why I don't completely hate Clear Sky. He's got a bad past, and he could of went about things differently, but I still think this makes him interesting.
Yeah, I noticed there wasn't much art for this book. I really want to do something of Clear Sky and/or Storm next. And thank you so much! I'm glad somebody can uh... over see my flaws.

Poor Thunder baby. I don't like Clear Sky, he's just a asshole (a insult really to Skystar since I imagine her being nicer). But Thunderkit is cute and kind of reminds me of Squirrelflight (maybe he's related to her?)

Yeah, I've always wondered if Thunder is some distant relative to Firestar.

It could make sense. Maybe one of Thunderstar's descendants became a house cat and somehow Firestar resulted. Do you think that Firestar might be descended from Redstar?

My theory is that Pinestar (Tigerstar's dad, who left ThunderClan to become a kittypet) would be a descendant of Thunder, and that explains how Firestar would have ended up being a kittypet if they are in fact related some how. (That would also mean Tigerstar and Firestar are related... dun dun dunnnn xD)

Maybe Pinestar is Nutmeg's father (Nutmeg being Firestar's mother) which would make Tigerstar his uncle (of course he wouldn't know that...Firestar didn't know that Scourge was his half-brother)

It already is. ThunderClan is interbred (every cat is related mainly through cousins and such). Truly it would be nice if the Clans intermingled or brought in new bloodline or passed their blood into others
