But... even a regular rope would be dangerous if someone lit it on fire. If you don't finish climbing once it is, it burns and you drop down...

Exactly. Either they drop down and avoid the explosion, or they end climbing up and get blasted; it's a very hard to escape trap.

Batduck: I have JUST enough time (cuts the fuse with a well-aimed Duckarang and catches himself and Decoy with the grappling hook).
Decoy: Fast thinking, Batduck.
Batduck: (as he and Decoy enter the room with Negaduck in it)
Negaduck: Well, well. It's the teenaged Darkwing wannabe with the pig pal.
Batduck: For the record, I came MORE THAN A YEAR before Darkwing. So, if anything, DARKWING's the wannabe.
Negaduck: Whatever. The point remains, kiddo, you are out of your league.

Batduck- Hah! You're the one outmatched. *Negaduck takes out a bazooka* Of course, you are gaining terrain. *gulps*

Negaduck: Typical teenager; letting your ego write checks your body can't cash. (Batduck plugs up the bazooka with a glue bomb, which causes the bazooka to explode in Negaduck's hands) That was my second-favorite weapon! (pulls out the chainsaw) Now you'll see the first!
Decoy: Uh-oh. Looks like we're going to have to split up and hope he can't get both of us!
Batduck: Excellent idea! (runs off at a speed that would make the Flash look like a slowpoke)

Batduck- Hey, I don't need to run faster than Negaduck; I only need to run faster than Decoy. *pause* Yeah, I know, it makes me sound like a selfish guy... but I'm an alive selfish guy.

Decoy: (desperately dodging Negaduck's chainsaw) Good thing I've been practicing.
Negaduck: I'll say this for you, lardo; you're faster than you look.
Batduck: (comes back in a futuristic looking flying tank) Okay, Negs! (fires off a freeze ray and securely traps Negaduck)
Decoy: Well, at least you came back.
Batduck: Yeah. Just had to get the Ducktank. Now, we deliver this sociopathic popsicile to the police.

Decoy *to the cops* We need some hot water. *sighs* Someone decided to lick the villain.
Everyone looks at Batduck, with his tongue on Negaduck's cape, frozen.

(Suddenly, a scissors cuts the fuse before it can reach the Dynamic Duo.

The birdarang hits the machine gun away from Negs, but the villain replies with a hand grenade.

(Nightblot flips away, and lands a kick!)

Negaduck replies with a roundhouse kick of his own.

(But Blinko, being the more skilled knocks Nega off his feet!)

Negs rolls on the floor and recovers the machine gun, shooting at Blinko immediately.

(Blinko dodges again, and tosses a Birdarang attached with rope, tying him up!)
