Description
I took more shots today of the deforestation project on our campus. My main focus was to simply practice photojournalistic techniques. Learning to most effectively portray a message in an impactful way. That was the drive behind my compositions, exposure, views, etc. The removal of a sensitive environment on my campus is a small one compared to what goes on in some parts of the world, but you can still get a feel of how much a landscape can change in just a couple of days. From a luch green forest full of life and fresh air, to a motionless dry desert of treaded mud and roots. This small series is just to capture the essence of a situation in the most effective manner, so I hope that it is successful.Although I have said before that I understand the need for this particular project, this shot secures my opinion that those involved in the deforestation could care less about what they are doing here. We must leave our mark in more ways than one. I guess it isn't littering in the forest though...
