Tentacruel are dangerous.They live far out in the ocean and hunt large animals like Whales and even Gyarados.
Both have been found with large sting scars on their bodys where they have been attacked but failed.
The 'teeth' in an elongated beak. It is used to grip hold of prey while the stingers do the rest.
Tentacruels long tenticles drift beneith it as it waits for prey to accidentally swim into the forest of stinging vines.
They can make themselves look almost invisible by controlling the light that enters their translucent bodies.
Prey wont see them untill its too late.
In mating season they come together and flash at one another with their large red bulbs which have been named by sailors as the 'Rubys of the sea' or 'Devils eyes'. They are called the 'Devils eyes' because sometimes they mistake boats for food and drag them down into the sea.
Their sting can kill a full grown man instantly, so if training one you must know what your doing and should never capture on from the wild as they hardly ever listen to commands.

i love this. it is so cool.
but i think the killing a human with one sting is a little carried away, but it does make tentacruel seam really cool. so i can understand why you choose to add that.

Well considering some jellyfish can kill people if stung a few times, a GIANT jellyfish's poisen would be far more concentrated, especially if hunting large prey.

well i understand why you decided to go with that.
and actually the most dangeruos jelly fish in the world it smaller than a finger nail. most of the time it is acually the larger the jelly fish the less consintrated.
but i understand the reasoning.

No it doesnt have eyes in the sense of the cartoon one. I see it as if i were turning a real creature into a cartoon, but backwards. So if you would draw a cartoon jellyfish you would give it eyes and a smily mouth right, so yer, i just thought it wouldnt look realistic. That is the usual size yes, they can be bigger or smaller depending on were it lived etc.

tentacruel is actually a very good water type to use... mostly in the stadium games. its fast, has an excellent special, and can learn a wide variety of moves. like mega/giga drain (a healing grass type move no less), ice beam, blizzard, surf, waterfall, dive, toxic/sludge bomb.
