was working on my Streetfighter Tribute submission and took a break ...with another Streetfighter Tribute submission...
haha sort ofjust felt like doing some sketching-staring at the other SF pic for so long-I needed to freshen up a bit with a slightly comical/silly/exaggerated/FLCL-inspired style

Dude that picture's dope! I love it. Ryu could
totally smash that mountain of muscle towering
over him. I like the perspective too. Even though
it's only a sketch, it has a lot of life to it me thinks.

its so funny how that works! the super quick ones that take no time or effort turn out to be the most fun to look at-retaining the life of the characters....

I think it's just a matter of stopping on time...
Keeping the dynamics of the sketch and not over-detailing the final version...

thnx for the compliments! but I didn't mean my weakest... i meant, sometimes when you try tooo hard it comes out like poop...and then when you let loose your inner 'genius'? (we all have it I believe-art music love whatever you wanna call it) comes out...even just a little

Sometimes that happens at my job where I'll be feeling creative and come up with something good. And
then it gets take and it starts getting worked on with the corporate world in mind. But with all quality
control stuff, I think they end up being afraid to take risks and then it starts losing everything that
made good in the first place. I don't know. I guess in a way it's like Wayne's World. But it's got to
be done. Maybe I just get more attached when I feel like it's my baby getting taken from me and then
it starts being corrected and taught by different parents. But in the end the other parents make a
more successful child than I could have on my own. It's sad, but for the business, it works.
I'm torn on this. And now I'm not sure I'm talking about what you originally were.

sometimes its necessary for a second or even third pair of eyes to check out your work
