                        Takeya is a rare species of Demon known for bad luck, causing large-scale famines for villages along with the cannibalism of their own kind. To most living creatures themselves they are completely harmless, but where they travel they suck the color and life from the very earth. Grey ash and bleak landscapes are left behind from where they have fed where hardly anything will be able to grow or survivor, not even the smallest of grasses. This causes many issues for humans as when they feed from a farmers field all the crops shall die and many times no more will be able to grow until the following year, therefor causing a famine in the area. Thankfully though their numbers are small and ever dwindling. This type of demon has a tendency to become territorial and will fight others of their kind to the death before feeding on their corpse, thus keeping their numbers slim.

"No matter what, you are a demon Takeya. In a lot of perspectives, you may seem as a coward, yet, greed and glutton is filled in your very veins. I find that quite intriguing, do you not?" - Raamiah

Greedy || Respectful || Territorial || Adaptable || Kind || Simple || Dense || Independent || Peaceful || Push-over

Takeya is a giant bird who Really doesn't care often for those around him, many times only doing so when they have some benefit to him, such as clearing away his boredom, keeping him company, or allows for him to keep living peacefully. He tends to avoid conflicts whenever he can and due to this it is often easy to mistake his own desire to keep danger at bay as kindness. He may act as if he cares for you and many times he does, but generally only due to whatever purpose he deems you can serve. Such as taking care of the land he destroys. He doesn't tend to pry into others business as he doesn't care much so long as they are able to keep functioning then he is happy.

With this being said it is extremely easy to look at the bird and figure out that he runs in a very simple world of keeping his species away and making sure that he will survive to the next day. Confusion is easy and many times he will not understand what is happening in the world around him. People's actions confuse him and while he will try and act like he understands, he really doesn't and he makes no real effort to try and understand it. To take advantage of Takeya is extremely easy so long as you aren't intending to take over his territory.

Takeya is a demon who has spent most of his years alone, isolated in a cavern that rests in Noca Pines.  He was born from two of his species that had been brought together by pure instinct however their relationship was not a genuine one, not genuine in any way. Much rather Takeya had been created from the pure instinctual need of the pair to further their species as both had been near the end of their lifespans. He was initially an egg, a nice small egg who resided in the middle with 5 others and from the moment he hatched there was the faintest of lucidity among him and his siblings. It was clear straight from the start to Takeya that his species could not stay together and that he could not be with his parents nor his siblings. He would look to the others of his kind and feel only hungry, just as he knew they would look to him.

The landscape he first knew was bleak and dull, it had been a section of a forest that his mother had eaten before their birth along with a large set of bones. Presumably those of his father whom his mother had eaten. Takeya was the smallest out of all his siblings and so at the start as they all squabbled to try and get the faintest traces of color from the world he was shoved to the side, starving. It was due to this however, that he had left the nesting site early. He escaped into the world before his family would turn to eat him.  It was out in this world that he got his first real meal, a large blue butterfly which allowed for his colors to be bright, much unlike most of his kind who are only the greys of their initial birth place.

Out in the wild he grew, growing stronger and stronger by each moment. He stayed small for his kind but he figured out how to survive and it was in this survival that Takeya were to begin to realize something. When he had been with his family, he had an urge to eat them but had been too weak to eat them. They hunted him but he had that seem instinct and feeling to go after them. Numerous times he had come across them and each time he had to run away as they were to try and eat him. It was a hunt or be hunted scenario and Takeya wasn't going to be the one hunted.

He was weaker than they were so he knew that he couldn't attack them right away. He couldn't face any of his kind face on so he snuck around. There were demon hunting villages and he went to them, getting their attention to chase him until they would lead them towards one of his family. Usually they were just small bands of hunters, enough to where they could cause serious damage to his kin but in they end they didn't survive. The demon hunters were slain, which solved Takeya's issue of having them hunt him and whoever he had set them upon was wounded enough where he could finish them off. One by one he began to pick off his species, causing their demise before eating their corpses to become stronger himself.

In the end he did manage to take the land from all of his family, killing and eating each and every one with only a single sister remaining. She had fled far away and he presumed her to be no threat anymore and Takeya had a territory that spanned the length that could normally hold three of his kind. It was pleasant for him, but he didn't pay much mind to it. Most days he spent hidden away in a cavern in Noca Pines. He left only to feed and his interactions with people were bare minimum, so small in fact that when he would occasionally find himself across another person he found interactions difficult and would just return to his solitude.

For years he stayed like this, and it wasn't until an unfortunate encounter with a band of demon hunters that any of this had changed. Having eaten from a spot too close to a village he ended up running through Noca Pines, evading them before crashing into a house which belonged to a rather unfortunate Raamiah. His ear had been chewed off by the displeased demon and he found himself having to share his home with her. It was, safe to say, a rather new experience for him, trying to figure out what she eats, what she wants, how not to offend her and while doing all that he had to deal with a strange habit she had. A habit of trying to feed him, with her mouth. In the end, he hid behind a couch until she were to sleep and promptly ran out to go and try and fix her house as soon as was possible.

FroFrom this moment onwards that he couldn't quite manage to be rid of the demon, although wether that was due to her or his own persistence of wanting company is uncertain. He had never truly had a real conversation before Raam, and while many times she would do things out of "teasing" or purely to see his reaction he did enjoy her company. He does not fully understand what she does, but sometimes its things such teasings involve things such as hugging, which apparently he is only ok at and licking of ears, which gets you kicked out of a house if you return the gesture. That especially was something he never fully has been able to comprehend.

It has been through Raamiah that he has learned about a whole new world, including that of fatherhood. He still is not sure how it happened, but he had joined her in an evening to watch the birth of her species. It was both horrifying and disgusting, watching as lightning were to crash to the ground and a pool of goo were to rise. filled with ear-shattering screeches that made him want to die, yet it brought forth an even more unexpected gift. A child, wrapped up in some of Raamiah's clothes and placed in his arms. With no chance of return. He had promptly been left with a short list of instructions and from that moment on, he had a child under his care named Rabu.

At first, Raamiah had told him that if he really didn't want to care for it he could try and give him away to a family but when Takeya tried to sell the child it was to no avail. No one seemed willing to buy it from him and why he could not understand. It was perfectly pleasant in its feather pulling, fork breaking, gooey mess of bodily fluids ways. Either way, he was stuck with this child and trying to care for it. Raamiah began to stick around more and more, helping him figure out how to deal with a child along with teach him that no, not all children will try and eat him. A belief that Takeya has held ever since his days of trying to eat his own mother.

In the current day Takeya is more open to the world. Caring for his child with Raamiah and on occasion he has even begun to venture out to villages to shop where he has a habit of buying anything that is pink or purple and has floral prints, many times even meant for women but he is unaware that they are meant for such. Merely thinking that any time he tries on a kimono he has bought that it just feels odd.

:: E X T R A  I N F O R M A T I O N ::

- When he transforms from a bird to a human the umbrella comes with him and he will usually trip over it
- He loves his child even if he thinks it is going to eat him, Raamiah has to continually assure Takeya it won't
- He doesn't particularly like the cold, or eating physical food, or violence, Or anything that comes into his personal space
- HAS A VERY LARGE PERSONAL BUBBLE that no one but Rabu or Raam can enter
- Yes he can fight and he is surprisingly good at it, even if his family had often been injured when he would go after them they were large enough that they could crush him in seconds if he messed up
- He is littered in scars, all are from fights with his family and a lone member of his species that got too near.
