I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS. Why does that room have that huge window? And is it the same room where Wash and CT were in episode 7? Maybe the room with the board is on the other side of the window and York and North were in 'armor processing' aka the changing room, but that still doesn't explain THE WINDOW. Unless it's literally just to get the outer layer of the armor off and no one cares about privacy with that. Idk. Geography, you confuse me in so many ways.

OHGOD I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT. I think it is; the entryway/armor processing box/window are all in the same place. Unless they just have IDENTICAL ROOMS EVERYWHERE.
...I thought the room with the huge, major board was in the Bridge of the ship? Where there was only the one window....leading into space....?
That could be. Like a sort of detox room, for just when they return from missions? That would make sense. That's why CT and Wash were there right after their mission failed.
So it really is just the "welcome back, please remove the broken bits here" room? They pass through it from the landing bay into the rest of the ship? Hmmm.

The room with the huge board in the episode where South storms out was a different part of the ship I think. I figure there's boards everywhere by the end...

Who knows. XD I was talking to another fan who had the theory that the 49 Freelancers had originally been separated into groups by the area their states are in. The group we see, then, is the best of the best from all of those groups. Although, CT and York would probably have been in the same group were that the case.
If I ever meet Burnie, I will ask him these questions. After telling him he ruined my ability to look at maps/street signs/license plates/listen to music.
