I don't understand why people think mmd isn't art. If mmd isn't art then making sculptures aren't art either. This is actually a good picture. It's not too flashy, but yet it's not dull. It's just a picture that has different models. That's what I like to see, a simple picture of mmd models together.

yes, making an MMD picture is easy; just load up a model, pose it, and add some effects.
but making a good-quality, HD MMD picture takes a lot.
it's not only about posing the limbs, like arms and legs, and the head and you're done. it involves moving every. single. "bone." there is on the model.
like in this image I made: [link]
that model alone had 98 hair bones, 140 skirt bones, and 28 finger bones that I posed one by one. some people would turn the physics engine on and make pictures like that, but it doesn't turn out as amazing as posing each bone at a time.
and like this person did in their pic above, they have miku's arm around kaito's shoulder. in mmd, it's actually really hard to do that.

It's cool, I understand.
When I first gt mmd (back when it only allowed one model at a time on the screen,) I thought it would be easy just to pose a model or make a motion. And I soon found I was completely wrong. It's sometimes a challenge to pose models because things like their arm length, height, and the way they were rigged.

btw, I forgot to mention, in mmd, it comes with a set of "Default" models (Created by animasa, kio, and m2) that aren't so hard to use because they were meant for beginners. Other models that are for DL can be challenging to pose and control.

Other people deserve the spot a little more than just an image that all they did was insert the model and place it around. ... and it isn't trolling it's clarifying your damn ideas around so people can see them. Itβs called respect thank you very much. If you donβt like something why take the time to start this whole commotion, and make people who actual like this type of art try to stand up for it. And I didnβt even mention popular list, so why bring it up now? And art has many definitions sculpture, photograph, paint, digital art, so why not 3D art. Half of the movies we watch now a day are done in 3D. Working on something is art in a way; I respect people who actually try on things, and it doesnβt have to be perfect at least they try. Yeah. I get you guys now, this guy properly explained it to me. By get i mean Feel. Bro. Im not trying to "Sass" you, but i also respect people too. Im not some ass over the internet trying to make you feel bad, but i thought making these were REALLY easy. I didn't think they would be that "Complicated". And you know. It's just not fair. If you were me and you had to be in a big ass hurry to find a decent painting here. How fucking hard do you think it would be? Like, traditional, non-anime, painting. Well honestly I thought mmd would be easy too. But then I tried it then I learned 0.0U
But it is hard to come up with your own stuff when everyone has such good ideas that you can't help but copy alittle. But understand that there are many unoriginal things on deviantart. And really it is hard finding original things.
