the cartoon i speak of is actually Men In Black the animation. yeah there's one episode that reflects this scene very closely.

More belated comments on work I previously faved. I love this piece. The structure in the middle is unusual, and the tiny ships hint at something critical happening here. This is the kind of art you look at a long time, trying to really absorb it.

i'm sure you're acquainted with the concept of Dyson Spheres? yeah, i really love visualizing super-massive space structures that only the imaginative mind can conceive... still what if somewhere somehow Dyson Spheres do exist?? what if... interesting thought...
