Creature Design: Metamorphe

Creature developed for a college assignment. The objective was to design a creature within a universe and create a narrative to justify the design. I chose the Alien Universe and focused on the prequels of the first Alien movie.

The narrative was thought of as a sequence for the movie alien: covenant. After David kidnaped the colonial ship, a team of elite soldiers went after the missing population, tracking it all the way to Oreagon-6. When they got there, however, the planet was devoid of life and full of Xenomorphes. Eventually, all the soldiers died, except Louise, who survived and began exploring the planet. She found a human colony living underground, serving as food for all the Xenomorphes and also worshiping them, like in a cult. To convince the colony to fight against the Xenomorphes, she wore a Xenomorphe carcass in her body and called them to battle. All humans agreed and rushed to the fight, but were defeated, leaving Louise alone. In an attempt to flee from the planet, she found the ship David was piloting, but in an accident, got in contact with the black goo and turned into this creature: the Meatamorphe.

The Metamorphe is also a parasitoid. He/she lays eggs inside the host and within less than 48 hours a new Metamorphe is born. There is no distinction of gender for this creature, when the egg hatches, an identical monster is created. His/her favorite host is the Xenomorphe, because of this, the population of Xenomorphes is extinguished and some time after, so is the Metamorphe.

The planet where this all happens is Lv-223, but it used to be Oreagon-6 when it was suitable for life.
