Description
After a change of horses with Alisia, Tonya took Socks out into the arena. Socks followed in line, keeping pace with ease. Tonya felt her phone buzz in her blazer pocket and made a mental note to check on it after she was done with this class. Being a vet with a large amount of animal patients wasn't always easy going. It seemed that the doctor wasn't going to be so lucky to get a week away from work. Not that she minded, of course. Having her dream come true and her job being to deal with animals was not something she would ever want to give up.

She knew that Dean would take care of all the animal emergencies while she was away, so Tonya let out the breath she was holding before turning to face Socks and stoping her. The mare gave the vet her full attention as the judge walked around the two, marking things on the clipboard in hand. It was definitely a first for her to have two horses back to back in the same class, but Tonya was glad that she had amazing friends to help her take care of things. This was definitely not the only class where her horses were to be shown back to back, but that was the way of the sign ups, so she would make it work.

Tonya nodded to the judge in thanks before leading Socks back to the others, where Crystal was getting Yuma's Southern Beauty ready to go. The vet could see the anxiousness in the young girl's eyes as she took a deep breath. Tonya walked beside Crystal and gently grabbed her arm with her free hand. Crystal looked over at Tonya with a gasp.

"Don't you worry about a thing. You two will be just fine. Just do what you practiced and let the rest be," Tonya said softly with a smile. Crystal nodded and returned the vet's smile as she let go of Crystal's arm. Tonya turned slightly and watched the two walk away over her shoulder before continuing over to where Aubree was standing. The blonde held up her fist and Tonya bumped it with her own before turning around to watch Crystal and Yuma's Southern Beauty.

"You're momma bear is showing," Aubree teased.

"I remember when you showed in your first class ever," Tonya retorted with a grin, leaning against the fence.

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Just want you to know that your doing it. Besides, I think it helped her nerves," Aubree smiled, nodding over to the two being judged.

"She just needs to build confidence, and that won't happen unless she's here," Rachel added. Alisia nodded as she led Sprinkles over to Tonya.

"Well, she will definitely build a lot of that here," Tonya said, taking Sprinkle's lead, continuing to watch Crystal and Peaches work through the routine.
