Description
After the triumph of the Revolutions of 1918 in Central Europe, the newfound German Socialist Council-Republic, formed under the ideas of the Spartakusbund, found itself under attack by capitalists at all sides. Thus, it would form a new country with its revolutionary neighbors, creating the Union of Socialist Council-Republics.

Though it was treated as a pariah state, the USCR was self dependent enough to survive. Because of this would rise virtually unscathed by the collapse of the London Stock Exchange in the 1920s. However, its neighbouring capitalist states would suffer, and some like France and Poland would fall to corporatist regimes as a result.

Declaring a war against liberals and communists alike, the outbreak of the war would occur in 1937 after the French invasion of neutral Wallonia, rising tensions with Britain and the USCR to a breaking point. Years of fighting would end with Poland's regime toppling under its own revolution, Italy entering the war against France, and France being defeated by a German-Italo land invasion and a British naval invasion in 1940.

After the war, Poland would soon join the USCR as a new Councilist Republic. France would be split between the powers, with Italy taking what it claims to be its rightful land, and Britain and Germany setting up puppet states. The rehabilitation of France after years of brutal corporatist dominance and warfare will take much longer than the war itself to fully heal.

By 1942, Italy and Britain still maintain an imperialist rivalry, carving up what remains of anti-communist Europe to each of themselves. However, as the USCR pursues to integrate its portion of France within its borders, it will soon become an undisputed superpower in the world, and the bickering imperialists may soon have to forgo their rivalries to defeat an existential threat.

This is an Alternate History Timeline I have been working on as a side project. It is partially based on the Red Flood timeline, but has its differences. There likely won't be much work on it beyond this and a few other maps, but I hope you enjoy the scenario.
