I was trying to create a special Halloween Menu for the diner I work for. Unfortunately I was too late and didn't complete it before the 31st. But a good friend of mine took some images of some of the ideas I had.Photography by: www.innershadows.co.uk/
THE MAKE
The Freak Shake is a normal chocolate milkshake with a donut popped on top, chocolate spread, toffee sauce, whipped cream and lots of lovely INSECTS!
I got the insects from Crunchy Critters: www.crunchycritters.com/
Its a great company and we should all be eating their products. Most insects contain more protein than beef and are a much more sustainable source of food. Plus you should get a taste for them now before the inevitable apocalypse that's coming.
This shake includes Mealworms, Mopane Worms, Queen Leafcutter Ants and one big lovely Locust.
