Description
Continuing with the cartoony portraits in charcoal. This one began as a wizard, but, ended up as more as a monk or something similar.Trying different lighting effects to get away from the "safe" all around lighting that I am use to doing.
What do you think?

I was going to comment on the lighting technique even BEFORE I read the description. I really like the contrast between the sides of his face. I think it makes it stand out more and brings a darker, more sinister feel to the drawing.
