Experimental portfolio piece for school, colored pencil on black paper. I haven't developed much skill with colored pencil so this was a test mostly for some techniques.

Here's the stupid write-up poem I wrote to go with it:

"For ages the girl had sat in her chair
The dust collecting in her long brown hair
Spiders gathered, making webs in her strands
First it was strange, but now she understands
The wondrous beauty they have created here
They have designed to keep her so very near"

Doesn't quite go with the poem but whatever.
Also the scan made the color and lines a bit stranger but it's kinda cool.
