As Zilla fought the FIREBIRD, and Randy and Mendel in the air trying to keep people from being killed in the fight, the HEATSEEKER and the remaining HEAT team disappeared. They had been pulled through a timewarp by future people to a disturbing world, here they were quickly set upon by flying monsters that were unlike any natural creature ever seen. They would have been killed had a future version of Mendel not rushed them into the sewers where he and the last surviving humans and creatures exsisted.
The future Mendel revealed to them that a madman named Cameron Winter had created the monsters they encountered, the DRAGMA, by genetic splicing of GYAOS, ULTIMASAURUS, and other creatures to create the perfect living weapon, sadly they could not be controlled and escaped and reproduced into such numbers they quickly tore the madman apart and set off to consume all organic matter like titanic pirahna.
At the center of the make shift refugee camp stood a huge statue of Godzilla, inscribed in the plague beneath it was written,"To them what lay down their live so we might live" Mendel explained that the monsters of Monster island were set loose after the initial strike of the Dragma and they held them back long enough for thousands of people to escape, but not even Godzilla could stop millions of Dragma as they swarmed over him. The Dragma even destroyed the other World destroyers even SPACEGODZILLA, then the great old ones rose up their minions too fell and seeing the world no longer worth their efforts to conquer left to unknown worlds, all this chaos tore the dimensional fabric and the Dragma entered into the world of Urth their they overwhelmed the Dino-beast gods and reduced that world to rubble as well. All seemed bleak so to see a better day the last of the humans created a time portal to warn the past of what was going to happen and brought Nick Tatopulos and his team to the future to make sure this future never happen. Then as Zilla pulled the Firebird beneath the waves, the Heatseeker returned and with a desperate call to G-force for support Heat was off with Zilla close behind then joined by Mothra and Battra who sensed the threat and headed to thwart it.
The scene was set to either save the universe from a terrible fate or to be destroyed in the process, in a large warehouse on the California coast it happened, ZIlla tore it open to reveal dozens of incubating Dragma and their creator Mad doctor Winter who fled before his work was destroyed by the might of Mothra, battra, Zilla, and the Gotengo, Winter was apprehended and charged with threats to the world and executed two years later.
Later that year Nick received a strange package that eased his fear of the future, when asked by his friends as to what he found out, he merely smiled and said " You'll have to wait and see for yourselves".
