How much strength does Godzilla have that hes able to throw zilla's whole entire body away with only the use of his mouth.

Godzilla has been able to toss MUCH bigger monsters than himself with ease... why you're surprised he can do this makes no sense .

That panel with godzilla pulling zilla's tail with his mouth, "Gotcha ya now bitch!" Zilla's expression on his face, " Oh--SHIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!" (Gets thrown toward buildings) lol

I'm so getting back into Godzilla again after seeing this! I've been waiting for a decent Godzilla comic to come out after seeing some of the good and bad movies. ^_^ I've wanted to see what the comic world has to say about the greatest Kaiju monsters ever! Β

I love how you can see from Zilla's expression in the second-last panel, he's like "Oh crap!" and then the last panel he looks so comical and alarmed that it had me cracking up XD I am a fan of Zilla though; loved his design, but the movie... so horrendously terrible. The cartoon was definitely awesome I enjoyed watching it while I was growing up. But of course, I like Godzilla just as much, too

Wicked drawings, I've been a fan of your work for a while. It's pretty damn impressive how you can draw such detailed monsters from so many different views and angles while maintaining consistency in both their designs and porportions

Awesome stuff overall

*chuckle* I love the look on Zilla's face in the second bite frame, kinda a "WTF man"

I like Zilla a lot but this is kinda sad, give the monster some credit as a monster even if the movie was bad. The Godzilla producers seem to only pull Zilla out these days to beat on him, just sad.

EmperorMinilla In reply to WindScar8 [2013-08-03 05:25:31 +0000 UTC]

Well, you can't really do much with a more grounded mutant marine iguana when you have him facing a monster like Godzilla who literally breaks reality in all of his movies in terms of... everything . Zilla doesn't get pummeled over and over because he's hated, he get's his ass beat because he's so much more grounded so what exactly are you expecting ? Well, unless if Godzilla fights Zilla Jr., then you might have a better fight .

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WindScar8 In reply to EmperorMinilla [2013-08-03 06:26:58 +0000 UTC]

I would actually like to see that, seeing as how Zilla was killed in the movie, bring out Zilla JR. (I actually liked the show a lot so yea that would be cool lol)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EmperorMinilla In reply to WindScar8 [2013-08-03 15:21:06 +0000 UTC]

Indeed, it would be cool and while Zilla Jr. still might lose, the fight would definitely be much lengthier and more interesting .

WindScar8 In reply to EmperorMinilla [2013-08-03 18:21:33 +0000 UTC]

I never understood why they didn't use Zilla Jr. for final wars, it made more sense that way

EmperorMinilla In reply to WindScar8 [2013-08-03 20:15:09 +0000 UTC]

Well, Toho was getting back at Tri Star and most of the people in Goji's fan base specifically hated Zilla, not Zilla Jr. so... it was kind of a no brainer that they were going to use Zilla .

WindScar8 In reply to EmperorMinilla [2013-08-04 04:21:37 +0000 UTC]

Makes sense, would still be awesome to see a Zilla Jr./ Godzilla mashup. Much more even grounded, and would be awesome to see them trading atomic breath at each other lol

Nah. It was rubbish. A blatantly one-sided fight is boring. You and some others might find some amusement in it, but I wanted something of substance. Judging from the replies I am not the only one who felt this way.

EmperorMinilla In reply to andwhyisit [2013-08-05 01:47:26 +0000 UTC]

Right, because a kaiju that couldn't even survive the military totally stood a chance against Godzilla (a monster who could survive meteor blasts, nuclear explosions, and getting swallowed by other monsters) .

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Myuutsuu85 In reply to EmperorMinilla [2013-08-06 11:17:42 +0000 UTC]

where did you see Godzilla turn so quickly like in this scene? He didn't does this before. He didn't does this later. He simply CAN'T move this fast.
It was predetermined that Zilla would lose, but not because Godzilla is soooo great, but because the storybord said so.
No glory for the lizard king here

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EmperorMinilla In reply to Myuutsuu85 [2013-08-06 13:14:25 +0000 UTC]

He turned that quickly after jumping off of Anguirus' face, he turned that quickly when he turned around to face Kumonga, he turned that quickly when he tail swiped Monster X and face blasted the guy, he turned that quickly to face Gigan in Antarctica after getting shot by his eye beam, and he turned that quickly when Gigan was going to dice him with his chainsaws but was able to move fast enough to the point where he could maneuver Monster X into Gigan's chainsaws. There, your argument is invalid . Oh and never mind the fact that the Final Wars suit is the slimmest and most flexible Goji suit ever made which allowed the actor to move faster inside the suit than he could in any of the previous Godzilla suits. Also never mind the fact that the Final Wars Goji is a different Godzilla entirely and isn't the same one from the previous films which explains why he's different. Yeah, never mind all that, it was predetermined by the storyboard .

Zilla makes up for strength with speed and mobility, but moved like lead in Final Wars. Let me say it again, I expected Godzilla to win but I expected a fight, not an over-glorified roaring match.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EmperorMinilla In reply to andwhyisit [2013-08-05 21:38:21 +0000 UTC]

Speed and mobility can only take a kaiju so far, just look at Megaguirus and Zedus . Zilla moved like lead in Final Wars? Last I checked, it was still moving faster than any monster in the movie aside from Kamacuras and Rodan . I understand where you're coming from but if you want a legit fight, then have Zilla Jr. paired in a fight against Godzilla because if your monster focuses on running away from the military, then there isn't much to expect .

Pellchinnn In reply to MetalDragoon [2013-08-02 07:52:02 +0000 UTC]

Well, first, I think you're refering to Final Wars instead of Monster Wars, and secondly this comic aint using either the creatures from the 1998 film and TV-series, this creature in the comic is actually based upon Zilla from 2004.

MetalDragoon In reply to Pellchinnn [2013-08-02 16:19:16 +0000 UTC]

Pellchinnn In reply to MetalDragoon [2013-08-04 21:58:51 +0000 UTC]

Agree, one-sided it is. Hopefully, when this issue is released, it might turn out Zilla will get some more hits on Godzilla than shown here.

I seriously doubt Godzilla could swing Zilla up in the air just like that, seems a bit silly, but it was pretty cool how Zilla ripped up Godzilla's leg though. I also see a similarity with Final Wars here, unfortunately, as we were promised something more different. The artwork is great however, and I think Zilla is the coolest monster here (I think mostly because of its violent nature and the awesome American Godzilla design) Seriously can't wait to get hold of this issue of ROE.
