Description
A pinup for the next issue of G-Fan, which, sadly, will not be including the next Gfantis entry. However, hopefully the next issue can have a blow-out finale for the story!I poured over resources of KING KONG ESCAPES for this one...that is one wack-job flick.

King Kong Escapes in ages! Some great fights in there, especially with Kong's
scrap with Mecha-Kong, Hillarious and fun!

I always had a soft spot for Gorosaurus, he was the only "real" dinosaur looking guy out of all of them. (I know Anguirus and Titanosaurus are supposed to be dinos, too, but they sure don't look it.)
I loved that movie, King Kong Escapes. Fun times.

Oh, you got that right! Although I don't think they confirmed that Godzilla was a dinosaur until Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah, y'know when they do that flashback with the general guy.... I dunno what I'm sayin', nevermind!

This is a nice homage to probably one of the most bizzare movies in kaiju history. Gorosaurus frankly never looked more himself.
If you don't mind me asking, just how big was this thing before you scanned it?

I thought Gorosaurus came from King Kong!!! I could never remember why I say him that Godzilla movie All Monsters Attack... now I know! ^_^

Actually, Gorosaurus' first appearance with Godzilla was in 'Destroy all Monsters'.
Since the Goro costume was still in good condition, and the Baragon costume was not ready for filming, due to beinging re-used as about three other kaiju in 'Ultra Q'and 'Ultraman', and not in good condition, Tsuburaya decided to use Goro in that movie as a substitue.
Baragon did make a breif cameo in the film's end.
As for 'All Monsters Attack', AKA 'Godzilla's Revenge', Goro's appearence was entirely stock footage from 'King Kong Escapes'.

I'm sorry, it just went out...this reminded me that I didn't agreed with your Gorosaurus Neo update.The first one was better, it LOOKED like a dinosaur.The updated version looks like an angry puppy dino, not a wild and worthy beast.

Well, that's the thing about Gorosaurus that I came to realize: he's not just a dinosaur, he should be kinda' weird and goofy looking, since he's a product of the 60's monster boom.

Wow, Gorosaurus looks great in this picture, even in black and white, I like the drool on his lips and Susan (was that her name?)looks pretty good, thought shouldn't she be a little smaller? in comparison, Gorosaurus looks more like a T.Rex in size, I thought both he and Kong were both at the 30 meter mark in that film? Maybe it's just that he's farther in the background then I initially thought, he's big compared to those trees.
Nice inclusion of the vultures or other birds in the background as well.

King Kong ws only 60 feet tall in KKE. And the chick's name was Susen Watson and she was a hottie back then,especially in that cute uniform of her's.
