again , a piece done for the Men of War forum role play

)reorganizing my regiment a bit after the battle of Strongheim
(dunno who's gonna pay for this ) this time in a rather napoleonic manner (love the shape of those bearskin caps) many thanks to for makiing the texture available to everybody
what do you say guys? time for some serious works? alright alright ... there's plenty of time

It would probably take about a year to played them fairly fast in time. Believe it or not, I get more tired playing the bagpipes than the drums.

The only reason they hold the stick in the left hand like a pencil, is because the drum is at an angle, and is easier to strike, and the right stick has more reach to strike the drum lower down.

[link] Here is a good image of that time period. A 1st Foot Guards drummer. A basic image, but thats how most bands in the British Military still hold them, including the pipes and drums.
