Kind of reminds me of a pic I saw where a guy had ripped out his heart and held it out to a girl. In essence it is the same between the two scenarios. People want to show others what they are like inside and if what a woman sees in the mirror does not agree with what she believes she should look like, given her personality, then I can imagine that it must be awfully tempting to undergo cosmetic surgery. We associate so easily with the stereotype rolemodels in the modern media that it's inevitable really.

I love the picture being so stable but hurt by the same time. The colour scale is beautiful.

this is amazing... the red just reminds me of blood, and then the title adds the thought of surgery in.. which the bloods helps with.. and the lack of colour just makes me think of how shallow some people can be. like in the world of 'showbiz'. getting all of their plastic surgery, just for looks. everythings all for presentation, you have to look good or you get nowhere-type tihng.
i'm not ragging in plastic surgery though. my mom got it ^_^ but yeh. i really love it. it really makes me think
