About:
Harpoon excels in swimming and hunting (prey is fish and whales). Using his wingspan in a similar way to a manta ray, he effortlessly glides through the ocean, and when tucking in his limbs, he becomes more streamlined and torpedo shaped for quick bursts of speed. He often hunts by first flashing the face-like markings on the top of his wingspan at them to surprise/stun fish, and then uses the 2 pronged harpoon-tipped tail to strike and impale the prey. His jaws are also designed to hold prey in place (with the use of pharyngeal jaws situated around his top jaws), and also can dislocate his bottom jaws to aid in swallowing some prey whole (similar to that of a snake). He can breathe air, but has gills, as he spends the majority of his time below the surface in the open ocean. His feet are webbed, though he typically doesn't swim with his limbs (why exert that energy when you have wings that do the job much better and more effortlessly?). Skin texture is similar to shark skin.
