I did this piece for the Star vs. the Forces of Evil tribute show at Gallery Nucleus. I was super flattered to be invited by Daron and have my work up next to such a brilliant group of artist.
I remember years ago walking around Disney TV and seeing the development art posted on the walls. I was instantly excited to see something magical girl inspired on Disney TVA because Sailor Moon was SO important to me growing up.
To get ready for this illustration I watched every episode I could find and collected reference from the Star fan made wiki. I loved so many of the characters I just couldn’t pick one or two to showcase so I crammed as much as I could into this one piece haha!
