My last minute entry to 's contest, here: [link]With an attack name like this, I imagine fire literally exploding out of Typhlosion, and his fur simply seeping flame like the leaking of an inner inferno. Though of course, he isn't burned, because he's typhlosion.
I listened to the Sucker Punch soundtrack a lot while painting this, primarily "Army of Me", twas' fun.

I don't even know what to say about this.
Whenever I imagine Typhlosion in my head this is pretty much how he looks, like a fluffy dinosaur with big teeth.
I love the detail and the flames coming out of his fur.
He's gonna win that battle.

I've heard various theories, I based him equal parts on a wolf, badger and wolverine.

I'd kinda stick more towards the badger and wolverine for his other prior evolutions.

You had the same idea like me (after reading the contest rules 
I was thinking on drawing a Typhlosion close up to face or so, from the front ... but them I saw they wanted to see the body and claws of the pokemon so I changed my mind completely XDDDD
