I had the pleasure of reading @rmgillig ‘s The Shepard King Duology during the later half of February. It was the series that got me out of a reading slump, having devoured the books within a week 🫡. Needless to say, I loved the character work, Elspeth especially. So I ended up painting a little portrait of how I imagined her to look (in this case without her braid). I’ve been doodling some of my scenes, so hopefully I get to post some more art of the books someday 🫣
