Late production model (c. 1986) of Strv 151 featuring a new turret with improved special armor. Infrared searchlight is replaced with a long-wave infrared, linear FLIR, similar to the M60A3 TTS sight. Laser warning system is installed on the turret and two detectors are visible. The gun retains the missile guidance tracker. The 120-mm cannon armed version of the tank is called Strv 121B.
