Go to page 1: [link]This is the real cover for the first issue. The promo cover was used for prints and proofs. I think we did a good job on that too, but it wasn't what I wanted for the actual book. this is more like what i envisioned, and did a perfect job capturing my idea with this wonderful BG. So big props to her!
As always, colors mangled when saving for web. The print colors are perfect!

I can't wait to purchase one, your work is simply brilliant Kay! And I actually really love the look of this cover, it really does a good job of capturing what the first issue seems to revolve around, and nicely fits the whole piece without giving to much away. I'm sorry I sound like a nerd, it's all this art school stuff making me think this way haha
In conclusion though, I love your work and I can't wait to see this all develop in the future! You've really got something here

yea i wanted the cover to be at least somewhat relevant to what happens in the issue, unlike the other one which was kindof random
I also wanted the style to match more so that people have an idea of what kind of art's going to be on the inside, by looking at the outside.

hhmm quite nice. The colors used for the bg are very peaceful looking and add a great feel to the picture! However I think those wolves in the back are abit oddly proportioned. Is that maybe Whitewind in the front? I think her legs look abit odd. I'm not quite sure why but the placement seems alittle off, the front leg's almost look broke and I think the one thats placed back is bending in an odd way. It seems odd balance to me, as though she's about to fall over.
Thats just my opinion though. Really its good despite that.

It's stunning, Kay! I love how dramatic it is, especially Swift there, and her amazing eye. It's gorgeous!! Ugh. I really like Whitewind's pose too. It looks beautiful, i can't wait to buy it
