Could this work for an oekaki board? I've seen the burn and dodge tools on the subeta oekaki.

I think my version of Photoshop is different from yours. I was doing well up until the burn and dodge tools, which I'm lacking. So I can't do any shadowing or lighting. *pouts* Is there an alternative I could use?
