Bio: Misuli was born with an unknown heart disease and thus he was weaker than the other cubs. That didn't stop his parents from pushing him past his limits, however. They wanted him to earn his place in their pride, or he would have to leave and live life as a rogue.

One day, a wonderful opportunity came across the young cub. The far-away Pridelands were looking for a few lions to join their guard, as well as a Princess to marry to their Crown Prince, Mufasa. The pride's Queen Jangwa offered her daughter Sarabi to betroth to Mufasa, and hand-picked Misuli and four other lions to join the Pridelands.

Misuli, his parents, and the other cubs and their parents, made their way to the Pridelands. They made their journey without much incident, but once they had crossed into Pridelands territory, things went a little haywire. A snapping twig branch startled Misuli, and his thoughts immediately went to hyena attack. He darted off in fear and climbed the highest tree he could. He was breathing quite heavily and his chest hurt a lot, but he was sure he was then safe. Problem was, he didn't know where he was or where the group went.

It felt like hours Misuli spent clinging to the tree before he just couldn't anymore. He slowly started slipping, and then he fell. He started to scream, but he was swiftly caught in the jaws of a stranger lion. Misuli was very afraid the lion was going to kill him, but to his surprise he was set down onto the ground. Three other lions sat around him and the one that caught him. "Don't worry, sonny." The lion that saved him said. "The lion guard is always to the rescue!"

Misuli was in awe. He wanted to grow up to be like this lion someday. "I assume you're with the group visiting?" Misuli nodded. "I'm Hodari, the guard's strongest. Let's get you back to the group."

"Mi...suli.." he choked out.

"Hah?" Hodari exclaimed, confused. "What's that?"

"M-my name.. is Misuli. Thank you."

Hodari ruffled the cub's tuft. "Of course, sonny. It's what we do!"

Hodari led Misuli back to the group, where he was immediately berated by his father for wandering off. Misuli tried to explain himself, but his father wasn't having it. He stormed off.

A cub Misuli's age approached him. Sarafina.
