Sometimes you have to stop and feel the present moment envelop you before your thoughts does.

0:00   A ray of light seeps through his curtains of his luxury abode, waking Pharragan and leaves him in deep meditation before the day. He should be energized and content, but he has become completely jaded to his own life.

0:36   The sun lights up the streets as he makes his way through his usual routines of dodging and dancing through the masses of people on their way to work, thinking to himself how sick he is of everyone, everything, and himself.

1:31   Lights, camera shutters, clothes, makeup, people -- oh so many people. His work offer no room for rest or respite and often leaves him emotionally drained for the day.

2:08   Having finished work, and made his way to his usual place of clubbing and socializing, dancing and flirting.
2:36 All the lights, sounds and music round him puts him in a trance-like high. Perhaps he can even bring someone home for the night to to keep the loneliness away?
3:13 As he goes through the motions as he has done a hundred times already, he feels a tugging pain in his chest; He needs to get out. Out of this place. Out of these routines.

3:31 Forcing his way out, he roams the streets with no actual purpose other than to just think, and it is in this moment he stops to look up. He can finally feel the rain on his skin.

I've been working on this piece on and off for months and I'm so happy to finally be done with it! I actually started on it years ago on a different WIP but I scrapped it and redrew it into this, and I'm glad I did.
I wanted to base this piece off of a song I enjoy a thought would be a great theme song for Pharragan that would let you feel what's more on the inside of him mind instead of the charming playboy outside he always shows off to the world around him. I've not drawn or explored much of his more jaded and lonely side, but I find it so interesting but so difficult to work with at the same time.

I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed making it!
