It's breathtaking. The motion of the hair, the colors and the waves in the background somehow give it this fantastic contrast that zaps out at me.

Perhaps it is the lighting and mood? It looks more like a longing or fearful glance behind done quickly rather then a joyful expression as her body is stiff. It is still a nice piece though.
