This is the end of the line for civilization. Keep going and you’re gator bait, or worse. The location is Wakulla Springs State Park in north Florida. It’s the location where the movie Creature of the Black Lagoon was filmed. Today the creatures are giant gators who aren't afraid of people. You can see them up close and personal on the jungle cruise. On one cruise, the guide spotted a gator on the bottom eating a deer. Turns out it was a human who had snuck into the park to steal Indian artifacts along the banks of the river.
