~ made a contest and I couldn't resist.

Took me a while to come up with something I was proud of so.... here's my baby boy.

SockPuppet is the son of Curtain Call and Haywire.
The two didn't expect to have a kid. Both got together to the surprise of their friends and family. Everyone thought Haywire was just constantly bugging Curtain for attention. Yet they grew older and Curtain Call quite liked her company. She was the one convincing him to perform more and to be more confident about his talent.

Haywire got to be less hyperactive around him as she always startled him and someday she thought she could give him heart attacks when she yells hello to him. The stallion was always so quiet and timid, it took quite some time to both, to make things work together. Haywire was the one confessing she wanted to be part of his life or something, which made Curtain panicked HARD.

Nobody knows what happened, but one day they got a kid. And a weird sophisticated one.
It sure made a lot of suspicions as the families knew the couple didn't plan to get kids?
But everyone quickly grew on to the tiny baby named SockPuppet.
Fluttershy and Discord were thrilled to have a grandson and they coddled him a lot during childhood.

As Socky grew up, he became like his father Curtain. He is a god in acting. But compared to his dad sweet side, Sock uses his talent for mischief. And even for... revengeful ideas. He got picked up (just a bit as he says) as a youngling. He learned to manipulate ponies in no time. He even learned to shapeshift in many forms. Ashamed he got picked on when he was little, he got to learn to hide his feelings to his parents, as he didn't want more attention and more sheltering he already have.

Socky speaks in a very mannered way as he plans to be a great actor. But despite that cutesy little face and his very scrawny body (even as an adult, he won't grow that much),
what he enjoys the most in life is to stir up some drama and manipulate everyone.
Although, it makes him feel very alone. Time to times, Sock visits his grandparents, seeking for guidance and help.

Discord as the creature of chaos, and he had learned about how to trust ponies, but not all of them. He agreed that Puppy (as discord calls him) must seek victory and make sure the ones who made you miserable must pay someday.

On the other hand, Ponet and Fluttershy, the sweetest couple in Equestria... Suggested to let things go, or simply make friends to the ones who misjudged you.

SockPuppet is full of different faces, but learns through life how to be himself.

I have some trivia bonus :

Sock prefers to go by the pronouns of He/They.
He has a horn which is regularly hidden by his mane. He only uses it for shape shifting but his magic is quite weak.
Doesn't know how to fly with his wings. But he can float for a little distance.
Sock had always trouble to speak honestly with his dad Curtain Call. Even though their passion for theatrical art is quite noteable, Sock sees his father like a burden, always being so self aware and still timid... Socky has the ego he wishes he could give to his dad sometimes.
