Description
This was a warmup page I just did. I did a couple doodles as you can see, then sorta got the itch to do a self portrait. While not that great, it's FAR better then my last attempt.

One of these days I need to get some good portrait drawing books to read. Though from the little things I've gathered from watching pro artists, the one tip that's helped me the most is don't draw everything in shapes you perceive. Let shading and stuff bring out the nose/mouth/ect. So I gave that shot and it was quite helpful.
