JUST incase it may spoil things (though I doubt it will) If you're worried about spoiling the FullMetal Alchemist movie, then DON'T read the text below! X3Anyways.
As much as I love the FMA movie, it had its downsides. One of the things that I kinda wish there was alot more of is - HUMOR! The movie had very little of the wonderful FMA funnies and that made me a sad, sad fan. ;_; There were alot of times and moments/scenes where I felt a little bit of the random humor would have been nice, without breaking the sad tone the film had alot (because, really, the film was pretty dark the whole way through).
If you notice when Ed and Al are side-by-side in the film, Ed actually IS slightly taller than his brother (yes, pretty much half an inch at the MOST) - considering Al had out-grown him when they were kids, I figured Ed would FLIP when he noticed he was taller than his little brother. X3
Um...Yeah, I could have made a joke about Ed wondering why Al was dressed like he was a few years back but...that's been done several times already...Plus, height is a BIG issue to Edward as we all know very well.

Actually, in the movie - Al is 13 physically (but 17 mentally) and Ed is 18, not 19.

Omg this totally reminds me about me and my brother except this would be the other way around. I've always been called tall my whole life...and then came a piont where I was no longer called tall. I was desperately wanting to be short my whole life and I was taller than my brother. If you imagine myself as Ed and my brother as Al...I'd be be measuring myself just like him...but I'd be glad that I'm shorter than my brother! Weee =3 Yep I celebrated my shortness once I found out I was shorter than my younger brother! And recently I noticed I've gotten even shorter (Seriously...my mom's short and I'm shrinking) and I measured myself...turns out I'm Ed's exact height (Has been mentioned in the manga what his height was). I've been shrinking for these reasons:
Giving up on milk (Hahah Ed), and wearing a damn heavy backpack that weighs more than me...litterally (Ed has heavy automail XD)

I wish there was more funny moments in the movie, too. But I thought it was funny when Al put part of his soul in the armor, came to the other world, and when he saw Ed, was all like "Ed? Are you actually that tall?" XD. I snorted up my pop~
The "Run!" "Which way?!" "JUST RUN!" 'WHICH WAY!?" part was probably the best, though X3. Great job!

Hehehehe...if you've seen the FMA OVA that's titled 'kids', you'll know who ends up being the tallest out of Ed and Al when they've both finished growing (it's both funny, but kind of adorable in the way it's presented. ^_^).
