a sort of a stream of consciousness experiment in painting. started out with a very general broad idea for a composition and just went from there, adding layers of elements and effectsRelated content

oh wow, I love the contrast and the odd atmosphere

i love the use of color and how the focus really "pops" against the background, and the compostion is spot on, but the thing that keeps me coming back to this picture is how the background is so stylized, how the building and the grass are one shape that is violently constrasted against the background, (i guess) to signify that those details are second-hand to the emotion contained by the characters. this picture seems to have a story behind it, an emotionally/character-driven one, which is the best kind.
