Description
This was something I felt like doing on a whim yesterday when I came across one of my bigger sketchbooks and felt like sketching out some of these characters. The concept is based on something I thought of as a kid, after the first Smash Bros on Nintendo 64 had come out: what if they had a multi-platform fighting game with characters represented by Nintendo, SeGa and Sony games? At the time, it was a struggle for me to find characters from SeGa and Sony other than their mascots, since I was primarily a Nintendo kid. Now, it's MUCH easier to pick 'em out, so I went with five for each. We have:.:Nintendo:.
Mario (Super Mario Bros.)
DK (Donkey Kong Country)
Kirby (Kirby's Dream Land)
Link (Legend of Zelda)
Pikachu (Pokemon)

Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog)

AiAi (Super Monkey Ball)

Spyro (Spyro the Dragon)
Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank)
Jak (Jak & Daxter)
I made the stupid mistake of not rounding-out the bottoms of the character line-ups so I could make the final art piece into a giant circle, but I think what I came out with in the end turned out alright. I knew that stock photograph of the sky I took a while back would come in handy someday.

That's a game I'd get behind. I can't help but notice; SEGA and Nintendo have mascots. Sony's used to be Crash, but the suddenly dumped their game mascot. Now they just don't have one.

here's how I see the chracters of the franchises:
-Sony: Cool, bad-a** looking
-SEGA: Same with Sony, but mixed with some cartoony, kid-iness in there (some characters in the SEGA franchise follow this though. other SEGA characters look like Nintendo's, which I'll list now)
-Nintendo: Only baby-friendly characters, there, I said it
As you already know, Sonic's is the mascot of SEGA, Mario is for Nintendo, but who's Sony's? Is it Sackboy? I don't think so. I'm betting on either Spyro or Crash as Sony's origin mascots. What do you think Sony's mascot should be?

actually, crash bandicoot was developed by naughty dog from 1996 to 2003, who was passed on to traveler's tales up until 2009. and then sony had it for two years in which we never heard of crash again as of 2010. but nice try though.

I don't know what the plot will be about, but I'm sure that the game will be just like the previous one. How can you imagine that, guys?
I'm NOT kidding with that stuff, honest! I sent the letters to SEGA(Jp, U.S.A., and even Eu), Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch and even Nihilistic Software about this, already!
