I seriously love Hyrule Warriors so much! The game is fun and it's beautiful as well. I haven't drawn anything Zelda related in a long time...that needs to change because I LOVE LINK!! I know that there are people who think that Linkle is the female version of Link and that's okay She would make an adorable Link haha. But they did officially say that she is "sister like" to Link. Linkle looks up to Link and wants to be as great as he is. I think that is why she dresses like him and uses similar weapons. She is just so cute!!
I'm not against a female Link in a side game like Hyrule Warriors but in a main Zelda game I don't think it would make much sense since Hylia said that Link and Zelda would be reborn every hundred years. To be reborn as a female wouldn't fit with what she stated in the official manga in the Hyrule Hystoria.This drawing took me forever to finish...like literally a whole week to get everything right. Link has always been more difficult to draw than Ash is. Also, Link's outfit has a lot of detail and I wanted to make sure that I got everything right. I'm happy with how it came out. I will be drawing more things Zelda soon!!

She is but they didn't add her into the game. Probably because too many people would think of her as a female Link even though is is described to be sister-like.

Yea I would be interested in a game where we play as Link's sister. Not Aryll really, maybe a new sister in the child timeline. And put up the choice to get kidnapped or have your sister kidnapped.

As for Link and Zelda being reborn every 100 years according the Hyrulian Historia you'd think that maybe in one of those carnations he might actually get lucky with Zelda. Linkle might be explained later as a recarnation of the kid Link and Zelda might some day have, and if they stick with tradition that would probably mean Linkle would be reborn every 100 years. The reason she always looks up to link and is so close with him is that she was probably his daughter in one of his lifes.

I mean come on. Link gets a shot with Zelda every 100 years. At least one of those times he had to get lucky and then enters "Linkle" into the circle of carnation. Probably never knowing that Zelda and Link were her parents in a past life. Nintendo could have a lot of fun with that concept. Might be around the same time Gannon finally gives up on his conquest of Hyrule. I mean dude come on, you live in a secluded dessert that the population is primarily women and your only competition comes.. I believe it was every 1,000 years?
