I use a nikonD70s + Nikkor 50mmf1.8 lens,they work perfectly together,
maybe your equipment doesn't work so well together.

detail, focus .. all very great.

you can't go wrong with a f stop like that.

I have a 50mm lens a well that even goes to 1.7 . but i can never get anything like this. any suggestions?
i do film btw. if that matters.
