Description

Redesign a bunch of old FCs form about a decade ago, back in my recolor days. Back then they were even more unoriginal Black Butler recolors FCs. But I wanted to tack them out of Black Butler fandom and make them more original. redesigning them I want to do more with them.

The old story was a carbon copy rip off Ciel's backstory. The only deference was that the main protagonist, Edna was a girl that disguised herself as her brother. But the rest is just copy past Ciel. For the rewrite of the backstory I scraped all the supernatural element.

About the characters form right to left.

James: James' design was the easiest to get down. Dispute him being a main character since the beginning I don't think I had a design for him until now, weird. There's not much to his design just a police officer uniform and a simple haircut.

In the old story he was an antagonist. Being Edna's past fiancé, he was unaware she had taken on her brothers’ identity. He made a contract was an angel to help kill all the demon and their contractor, not relaxing that induced the woman he loved. I feel like he was supposed to be a kind of yandere kind of character, there wasn't much else to him.

In the new story he's still Edna's past fiancé, but after her family's murder they went missing. In the time she was gone James become a police officer. He finds out a killer he's been trying to arrest of Edna. So, the new story is kind of like a "cat and mouse game" with romantic and sexual tension. James' personality now is the peppy recruit that want to make his boss proud of him, and a hopeless romantic. He basically went form a yandere to pure boy.

Edna: What I changed about Edna was mostly her appearance. To separate the new story from Black Butler I wanted Edna to dress kind of like a homeless person. With a big baggy coat. I strangled with the shape a lot. Original I wasn't going to give her a mask. But she needs something to help her look intimidating.

Edna now is more blood thirsty, manipulative and cruel, then in the old story. Thou she still has romantic feelings for James her feelings of revenge and hate are higher.

Marie: I probably struggled with Marie's design the most, as I didn't even know want, I wanted for in. All I know is that I wanted it to be a big poof dress.

In the old story Marie didn't have that much to her, she was just kind that's it. The only interesting thing about her is her was engaged to Edna's brother and know Edna wasn't him but played a lot to help with her despise. In the new story she's an accomplice of Edna dispute her kind heart. She helps shelter Edna, help her evade arrest and patched her up when Edna is hurt.
