Description
I was very lucky, and was able to get out of the house and take some walks around my neighborhood, just as flowers were blooming like crazy. It was an amazing treat to be around so much color, and to be able to take photos of it. I have so many great pics from that time. It's been slow going thru and finding the absolute best ones, and doing the post cleanup. I really did very little post editing to this photo. However, I will say, in an effort to really capture the brilliance of the colors of the actual flowers, i did add some color in my G12's color balance system.

The truth is, photographs don't show reality. The colors are never totally true, the camera always makes some alterations in the process of the capture. But in editing, i really tried to keep it as natural looking as possible. The flowers at the time really were a visual feast.
