Description
A character concept I’ve been toying around with: a circus clown is severely injured during an accident while performing. His boss doesn’t want to deal with insurance, so he just…leaves him there to die. But the clown doesn’t die. He wakes up to find that his coworkers and boss have abandoned him. Fueled by vengeful rage, he steals a jester costume from a nearby freak show, renames himself The Fool, and starts hunting down his former boss.

There’s a bit where I imagine him joining on another circus, just to keep himself from starving. The new circus actually has a healthy workplace atmosphere and a boss that cares for his employees. The Fool finally learns what it’s like to live with people who care about him. But is it enough of to distract him from his mission of revenge?
