Ah ha! Not done one of these before. A semi-tutorial on how I created [link] in Photoshop CS2 (Yes, I'm way behind but my copy of CS4 doesn't work >.<)

It covers all the stages although there are details I couldn't fit in here, eg. the various lanterns I sketched to create the background.

Sorry about my hand writing If you can't read any of it I'll write it up here later, but I think it's pretty legible. And anything that doesn't make sense I'll happily try to explain
