I do this with every base model. I add expressions and call it a fixed base. My bases will often have several different types of blushes and tears. I highly recommend doing this, it saves time so that you don't have to do that to another model that I want to use the same base.
I put them all in a fixed base folder.

I hope I'm explaining these the best way possible. It can be kind of confusing. I didn't really follow or look up tutorials when I started MMD so I'm kind of writing what I found out as I went.
