There is definitely something there,
just it feels as if it were a past school days pic or so.
It makes me feel they're younger in this picture.
IDK, purhaps it's the eye lashes, & tied up mains.
( AJ, & RD only have 2 vs there norm 3, & Rarity has 3 vs her norm. eyelash count.)
But yes, this picture has something to it that is making it convey the feeling of vibrant energy & youth.

I like how you manage to give your ponies the sparkle of life. It feels like they are about to just jump from the picture! It may be just my feeling, but I see a little improvement compared to your previous pencil drawings.
I won't say anything about how talented/gifted you are, because a lot of people say that and they didn't realise how much hard work had to be done to gain such qualities. I admire your effort and gained skills, sir. Keep the ponies coming, please.
